How to Become a Caddie and Qualify for Free College

Stop by the main stage to learn about Western Golf Association's work with the Evans Scholars Foundation, which provides full housing and tuition scholarships to deserving caddies across the country.

Presented by Tim Orbon, Director of Carry the Game, Western Golf Association. Orbon was awarded an Evans Scholarship to Northern Illinois University in 1997. He joined the Western Golf Association in 2013 where he worked with clubs nationwide to start caddie programs or enhance existing ones. In addition to guiding caddies through the Evans Scholarship application process, Tim works with various golf organizations to support youth caddie initiatives.

Peter is a PGA Life Member and a world class trick shot artist, having performed over 3000 exhibitions across the globe. You can also catch Peter on WGN-TV's Instant Replay show on Sunday nights.

Former Chicago Bear Jim Morrissey takes a lesson with IPGA pro Kurt Kollmeyer

Jim Morrissey played linebacker for nine seasons for the Chicago Bears and one season with the Green Bay Packers. He was a member of the Bears team that won Super Bowl XX following the 1985 NFL season. He was also a member of the "Shuffling Crew" in the video The Super Bowl Shuffle.

Jim will appear with Kurt Kollmeyer, the PGA Director of Instruction and Regional Manager for GolfTEC Chicago. He is an 11 time nominee for IPGA Teacher of the Year, been named to Golf Digest's Best Teachers list, and won GolfTEC's Regional Manager of the Year award.  He has given over 30,000 lessons in his career and is very passionate about helping players of all levels reach their goals.

Louis Sauer, Illinois PGA Teacher of the Year

Louis Sauer, Illinois PGA Teacher of the Year, has been playing golf since the age of 7 and began teaching golf after college in Miami with Jim McLean. He opened the golf studio LS Golf in Northbrook, Illinois where players and instructors can develop their craft year round.
